Teammate
Projects
Every codebase you sync with Teammate becomes a project on the Teammate sessions page (account menu) — the mined decisions from your coding sessions, ready to ask about or share. A single project can combine sessions from several tools on the same repo.
Sync your sessions
From inside your coding agent, run /teammate or say “sync my sessions” — or run teammate sync in a terminal. The skill gathers your recent sessions for that repo, cleans them locally, and processes them into the project.
- The cost is estimated before processing starts, so there are no surprises.
- If a sync fails partway, open the project’s Processing tab and hit Retry — it picks up where it left off.
- Keep a project current automatically with
teammate autosync enable— see the teammate commands.
How facts are generated
Each cleaned session is mined for decisions — the trade-offs, the “we chose X because Y”, the things that would otherwise be lost. Every fact is cited to the session and date it came from, so you can trace any answer back to where it happened. Open Show evidence on a fact to read the exact source.
Use them — ask the project
The project page is where you put the facts to work:
- Ask about this project — a chat that answers only from the extracted facts, cites the session and date behind each answer, and says plainly when the facts don’t cover your question. Ask “why did we pick this database?” or “what did we decide about retries?”.
- Show evidence — expand any fact to see the source session it was drawn from.
- Download — grab a zip of the facts to feed into any other AI tool.
Share with your organization
On the Teammate sessions page, switch a project from Private to Public to share it with your organization. Teammates then see it on the organization page and can open it read-only, download it and ask about it. Switch it back to stop sharing at any time — and personal facts are never included.
