Topics

To-dos & plans

Each topic has a to-do list. Every item says why it is on the list, who has it, and — once it is closed — what was decided or done. The topic manager adds and updates items as the discussion moves; people add the rest.

Add one

On the To-do tab, Add an item… takes a title and a line on why it’s on the list and what done looks like. Or just say it in the discussion — “@Topic manager add a to-do to update the onboarding screenshots, due Friday” — and the topic manager files it.

The to-do window

Click an item to open it: the full why, what was done, who has it, when it is due and when it last changed. Under Progress, write where it stands, mark it On track, At risk or Blocked, and press Log update. Updates also arrive from coding sessions and from the topic manager, each labelled with where it came from. A closed item can be reopened.

In a message, # links a to-do; clicking the link opens this window.

My to-dos

My to-dos in the sidebar lists everything assigned to you in this organization, open and done, each linking to its topic. Its Prompt button copies a ready-made instruction for your coding agent to pick up your to-dos — see MCP.

Plans — checks on a schedule

A topic can check back on itself: “every weekday at 5, ask the repo agent what changed and tell us what matters”. At that time the topic manager reads the room first and stays quiet if it’s already been handled.

Add a check

  • On the Plans tab, Add a follow-up: what the manager should check, when, and whether it repeats (once, every day, weekdays, weekly).
  • Or say it in the discussion and the topic manager schedules it.
  • Any member can Snooze, Resume or Cancel a check.

The calendar

Switch to Calendar for a day, week, month or agenda view of checks, to-do due dates, meetings and logged progress. Click an empty slot to add a check there. Times are shown in Indian Standard Time (IST).

Repeating checks stop by themselves
A repeating check ends after 150 runs or 90 days, and pauses itself after a few runs in a row where there was nothing to say. Each topic can have up to 100 checks waiting.
